Glasstic water bottle

I got this awesome Glasstic water bottle to try out! I’ve been trying to drink more water and cut out pop lately because, ya know, it’s healthy. 😉. I love this water bottle, it’s super handy to take with me on the go.

I know that glass bottles are better for our health and environment but I’m always worried that I will break it. This Glasstic bottle is perfect because the glass bottle locks inside of a heavy duty plastic shell to prevent any breaks should I drop it.

It’s super easy to take apart for cleaning, all you do is remove both lids on top and bottom, then pull the glass bottle out. The best part, it’s dishwasher safe!

The lid flips closed and can even be locked so there’s no accidents, and there’s a spout for easy drinking. So far, I’m loving my Glasstic bottle!

If you want your own Glasstic bottle, then check out their website!

Cleverdog Camera Review

I recently got this indoor security camera for free from Cleverdog in exchange for my review.

The camera comes with a stand, a USB cord, and screws so that you can mount it to the wall if you want. The camera connects to your wifi so that you can see what’s going on wherever you are from their app.

To see what’s happening in your home remotely, just download the app and connect your camera. You can watch live, or see playbacks. The camera has a motion detector so that it only records when motion is detected. It also has infrared night vision so it can record at night as well.

I really like this camera, it has a great picture and a 120-degree vision angle so that I can see the whole room. I like that it has a motion detector and can also record at night. It also has a microphone so that you can speak to whoever is in the room.

I would highly recommend this camera, you can get it on Amazon for $30

Letter Board Review

I received this letter board at a discounted rate in exchange for my review.

I’ve been wanting one of these for a while so I can post some basic white girl posts on Instagram lol. When I received this letter board in the mail I was pleasantly surprised with how well it was packaged. It all comes packed together in a very pretty box so you don’t lose anything.

The board itself is a good size. It comes with a little easel so you can set it up anywhere you want. The letters and symbols all come in a plastic bin that is separated up into compartments.

It comes with all 26 letters of the alphabet, numbers 0-9, and a bunch of different types of symbols.

The letters stick very easily and stay on, but I also didn’t have a problem taking them off the board when I was done either.

If you’re looking for a great letter board, I would highly recommend this one. I was very impressed with the packaging and quality, and I can’t wait to start using it more.

Kopari Voxbox

Recently I was accepted into another Influenster campaign, and I was really excited about this one because they were sending us something that I had been wanting to try for quite some time- an all-natural deodorant!

Kopari beauty is a skincare company that uses coconut oil as one of their main ingredients for their products. All of their products are sulfate free, paraben free, cruelty-free, phthalate free, and vegan. They also donate to charities such as Waves for Water and F*ck Cancer.

Kopari’s all natural deodorant is no different. It’s made with 100% pure, organic coconut oil. It’s one of Kopari’s best sellers and even won Allure’s 2018 Best of Beauty Award. What got me excited about this deodorant is the fact that there’s no aluminum, baking soda, parabens, silicones, or phthalates; instead, it is packed with plant-based actives, coconut oil, and coconut water to keep you smelling good all day.

Aside from all of the amazing ingredients, Kopari’s deodorant also has a delectable fresh coconut milk scent that leaves me dreaming of a tropical vacation. It also glides on smooth and clear and doesn’t ever leave stains or white marks on my clothes like my old deodorant.

If you’re looking for an all-natural deodorant from an amazing company, I would highly recommend checking out Kopari Beauty. If you decide to buy a stick, or two, Kopari will donate $1 for every deodorant sold to F*ck Cancer organization

Makeup Brush Drying Rack Review

I recieved this makeup brush drying rack at a discount in exchange for my review.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was excited to receive this product to review because I had been diy-ing my brush drying rack for some time. There’s nothing wrong with a little diy, but this product makes things just a bit easier. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The drying rack comes with slots of different sizes for every kind of makeup brush. My makeup brushes fit perfectly, and didn’t slip or slide out easily. ⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When you open the package it comes in three pieces, the top part and two legs. You have to slide the legs into the top. I found this to be a bit tricky at first. The legs were kinda hard to get into the slots, but once they’re in they don’t budge. Just be careful, I pushed too hard trying to put it together and the plastic cracked a bit. It’s nothing that hinders my use of the product, however.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In addition to the drying rack I also got one of those nifty waterless brush cleaners. I already have a couple of these, but one more doesn’t hurt. I love these so much, and the design on the lid is very pretty.

Babi Bear Professional Brush Review

I recieved this brush set for free in exchange for my review
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This set comes with 15 brushes, a beauty sponge, a brush cleaner, and a bag to store everything in. When I first recieved these I was very impressed with them, the bristles are soft and work very well. There is a smell to them when you first open them, this is the paint on the handles and will go away if you let them air out for a few hours.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One of the brushes did have some issues with shedding, which I did include a video of. All of the other brushes, though, did not have any issues with shedding.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The beauty sponge is really nice. It reminds me of the sponges I use already, so I know that I’ll really like it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I love that this came with a bag to carry all of the brushes in, I can use this for travel which is very handy.

Light Studio Review

I recently had the opportunity to try out this light studio from Femonden. I’ve always wanted one of these, and so I was very excited to receive this.

This light studio is perfect for taking pictures of makeup items and other small products. It comes with LED lights and plugs into the wall with a standard phone charger cord or USB cord.

It comes with six different colored backgrounds; black, white, green, yellow, red, and blue.

The LED lights are very bright and provide great lighting for the perfect picture. This light box is super easy to out together, it literally just snaps together. It also comes with a little drawstring bag for storage.

It works great for pictures for Instagram. I like using it to take pictures of my makeup products. This would also be great for anyone who sells stuff on eBay or their own online store.

Beauty Garde Lash & Brow Shampoo Review

I recently received the Beauty Garde Lash & Brow Shampoo from Bzzagent to try and review. I’m always looking for an easy and convenient way to remove my eye makeup as it’s the most stubborn makeup that I wear.

The Beauty Garde Lash & Brow Shampoo is oil-free and safe for faux lashes and extensions. It comes in a squeeze tube that has a brush attached to the end. The design on the packaging is nice with roses on it.

When you take the cap off, you can twist the brush head into an On or Off position, which I really like because you know that this product will never leak all over in your bag or on your shelf. The brush is really soft feeling and not irritating on the face at all.

Once you have turned the brush head to the “On” position you can squeeze the tube for some of the cleanser to come out. You then just wet the brush and start gently washing your eye and brow areas in circular motions. Once you’re finished, you just rinse your eyes and the brush off and you’re done!

This cleanser did work really well to get the makeup off, even my UD Perversion mascara which is notoriously hard to wash off at the end of the day. I love the whole packaging design, especially the On-Off switch it has. My only complaint is that it burned my eyes. I tried really hard to not get any in my eyes, but it didn’t work. Maybe mt eyes are just overly sensitive, but this burned quite a bit and I had to stop using it.

Overall, I think it’s a great product. If you don’t have sensitive eyes, then you may not have the same problem I had with the burning sensation. I really like the concept of the packaging, and the formula itself works amazing when taking off makeup. Would I recommend this? I would have to say yes, but just be aware that it may irritate your eyes, so your mileage may vary.

What are your favorite eye makeup removers? Did you get a chance to try this product out as well? Let me know in the comments!

Summertime Skincare Routine

Since the warm weather is starting to roll in I thought I would share my summertime skincare routine for this Sunday’s Skincare Sunday. It’s not a whole lot different from my winter routine, but there are a couple of changes. I’ve also updated my routine since the last time I posted about it on my Instagram page.

First, a little about my skin. I have combination skin, my cheeks and around my mouth tend to be dry, while my nose and forehead tend to be a little more oily. In the summer, my dry skin is more normal than dry and my oily skin is extra oily! My nose causes me the biggest problems, it’s like an oil slick in the summer! I also have a lot of redness on my cheeks and something called Keratosis Pilaris.

My morning routine is as follows:

  • Boscia Sake Cleansing Water to rinse my face
  • Ole Henriksen Truth Serum
  • Ole Henriksen C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme
  • CeraVe Invisible Zinc Sunscreen SPF 50.

Occasionally I will use a different SPF like the It Cosmetics CC Cream with SPF 50 in it.

My nighttime routine:

  • I’ve been trying out a sample of Tatcha The Deep Cleanse face cleaner this summer. Once that runs out, I will probably use Clinique Liquid Facial Soap.
  • Stridex Maximum Strength Pads. I use these because of the Salicylic Acid, it helps reduce the look of the KP on my face.
  • Two nights a week I use Derma E’s Overnight Peel with AHAs to exfoliate my face.
  • The Body Shop Aloe Smoothing Eye & Lip Contour Care
  • Strivectin-SD Eye Concentrate for Wrinkles
  • IMCO Aloe Vera 85 Aloha Smoothing Emulsion
  • Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

Using this routine, I’ve noticed that my oily spots aren’t as oily and the redness on my skin has reduced quite a bit. This routine is light on the skin, and since I live in the Midwest where it’s humid more often than not, a light routine is what I need.

Have you tried any of these products? What are some of your favorite skincare products for summertime? Let me know in the comments below!

Neutrogena Mask Collection – “It’s in the Gel”

Recently I was given the opportunity to try out some new Neutrogena masks. I have tried both of the sheet masks, Deep Clean and Radiance Boost. I like that these masks come in two pieces. I have a small face, so it’s hard to get sheet masks to fit right, because these come in two pieces it’s a little bit easier to fit them to my face. These masks also have a lot of product on them, they are dripping!

The first mask I tried was the Deep Clean sheet mask. The scent of this particular mask is really strong, I actually almost didn’t leave it on for the full amount of time because it made my head hurt. I didn’t really notice much difference in my skin. My skin felt slightly sticky afterwards, which I quickly rinsed off.

The second mask that I tried was the Radiance Boost sheet mask. The scent of this mask isn’t as bad as the Deep Clean mask. It’s more subtle and clean smelling. My face felt refreshed afterwards, and it did look a little brighter. I’m not sure I got the same results from this mask that I’ve gotten from others, though. My face also felt sticky after using this one as well, though not as much.

I haven’t tried the Deep Clean Wash-Off clay mask yet, I want to save it for when I feel like I really need it so I can test out it’s cleansing power.

This new line by Neutrogena also includes the Hydro Boost Hydrating face mask and the Hydro Boost Overnight mask.

I loved trying out these masks. I don’t know that they are something that I would purchase myself. I don’t like the sticky residue that is left behind, and I didn’t feel like I got good enough results either. I would be interested in also trying the two Hydro Boost masks to see how they perform, so I might have to pick them up. Have you tried out these masks? What did you think?
